Build-your-own cheese and charcuterie board Toronto

A little bit of terminology for those who need it: I always thought charcuterie meant a cheese & meat spread, but over the last few years I learned that “charcuterie” is only referencing the meat. Therefore, if you are looking for a full spread, you’ll want a cheese & charcuterie board.
Restaurants & Bars
Midfield Wine Bar
This Dundas West wine bar offers a small selection of carefully curated meats & cheeses. They’re goodies are available for pickup or delivery, alongside an excellent selection of wines and a handful of housemade products.

Bar Volo
One of my favourite bottle shops & bars, tucked on a brick lined street in downtown Toronto, Bar Volo has an excellent selection of meats, cheeses and beverages. They also have a full kitchen and have other snack on offer.

Avling
Avling Brewery is arguably one of Toronto’s most stunning breweries. While you may not be able to enjoy their indoor space, you can still order their beers to enjoy at home. On top of that, they have a pre-prepped charcuterie spread, which comes with four different meats, chutney, crackers and more!

Note: they also have charcuterie options available, without the spreads.

Henrietta Lane
Pre-pandemic, Henriette Lane operated as a cafê and cocktail shop. It’s the place that I enjoyed my favourite scone ever, on a rainy day in the city. While I’m looking forward to returning, they’ve been creative in their offerings during the pandemic – from holiday beer advent calendars to creating one of the most impressive restaurant-turned-grocer offerings that I’ve seen in Toronto.
